 - 7TH/8TH

The Bulldog Sports Competitive Volleyball offers 7th/8th grade girls a opportunity to prepare for competitive play, practicing a few weeks before competing, on average, once a week against other middle schools in the East Bay. This program is geared for higher skilled, competitive players.

Sign-ups limited to 24 per grade level.

Our recreational program is open to all 6th, 7th and 8th graders wanting to have a fun non-competitive introduction to the sport of volleyball. We offer an intramural type of program which is designed to include many, and focus on the sport’s rudiments through meaningful interactions, and fun lead-up games which promote skills, while fostering new friendships. Sign-ups are limited to 35.

The Climbing Club is here!  This exciting and challenging sport will help students build strength, improve flexibility and coordination, and problem-solve while making their way along our fabulous traverse rock wall in the Isola Gym.  Open to all levels - no experience needed! Students will learn the basics of rock climbing and bouldering, and will have the chance to progress at their own pace.  The session will end with a trip to a local rock climbing gym where they can try out their new skills.

Rock Climbing will meet on Fridays. Sign-ups are limited to the first 15.

Cross Country is back for all running enthusiasts. Our expert running coaches will provide participants an opportunity to practice, refine and test their distance running techniques. Athletes will have an opportunity to compete against other East Bay middle schools in various dual and league meets. Participation is open to boys and girls in all grades.

Pickleball is a paddleball sport that combined elements of badminton, table tennis, and tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, much like a wiffle ball. Open to all grade levels and all skill levels. Pickleball will meet on the lower blacktop on Wednesdays. Sign-ups are limited to 18.
