FALL Musical

Overview

We offer two productions each school year. This year, we will have two musicals - one in the fall and one in the spring. Students can participate as members of the cast or technical crew. By working together with adult mentors to create a quality production, students develop confidence and respect for others as well as skills in collaboration, teamwork and stagecraft.

Fall Musical - Disney's Frozen JR.
The enchanting modern classic from Disney comes to the OIS Bulldog Theater! Frozen JR. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film plus five new songs written for the Broadway production. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen JR. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!  Visit www.MTIShows.com for additional information.

Jeanette Lipp is a former OIS parent and provides administrative support as Program/Event Manager.

Director/Producer/Production Crew
Bay Area Children's Theatre has been contracted to provide our program with all staff and services.

Parents
Parents are a very important part of our team, and we would not have this program without their volunteer hours. Parent volunteers serve on the following committees: backstage, publicity and publications, tickets, house operations, concessions and cast and crew celebration.

The program is a collaborative effort involving the Producer, Director, Event Manager, Technical Manager, cast and crew members and their parents. The Producer, Event Manager and Technical Manager are responsible for organizing and overseeing the many aspects of our program. The Director is the artistic manager of the production and is responsible for auditioning, casting, and preparing the actors for the show.

A 2019 Fall Rehearsal Schedule and Fall Musical page with detailed information on the production will be published by early August 2019.
