Several times during the school year, the Parents' Club organizes a prepared lunch or treats for teachers and staff. Volunteers are needed to prepare lunch items and treats for Staff Appreciation Days. The staff members love these days! This is also a good opportunity to meet and get to know the OIS teachers and staff.
8th grade parent volunteers organize and implement the Promotions Ceremony, party and day outing event for 8th grade students in June. There are many jobs, big and small! Whether you can bake cookies or want to help decorate, your volunteer help is needed to carry out this special event.
ONE positively impacts each and every child at OIS, please let us know if you would like to help by volunteering.
Help keep our school prepared for an emergency. Volunteers are needed to ensure our classrooms are equipped with the items needed in the event of an emergency. Liaisons are also needed to attend the City of Orinda Emergency Preparedness meetings.
The OIS garden manager needs an assistant(s) to help in the garden and serve as chaperone for Others First in gardens as needed.
Volunteers are needed in Bulldog Theater to help with wardrobe, crew and other jobs to help the production go smoothly for our students.
Bulldog Sports needs parents to assist in transportation to other schools as well as cheer for our students.
