Common Core Math 7
Common Core (CC) Math 7 is grade-level math course preparing students to take future higher level math courses. Students will not only learn the math standards but will continue to develop higher order thinking skills and build fluency around the 8 mathematical practices. This course covers all of the 7th grade California State Math Standards. The main objectives covered in this class are: integers, rational numbers, expressions and equations, inequalities, ratios and proportions, percents, constructions and scale drawings, circles and area, surface area and volume, and probability and statistics.

Common Core 7/8 Math Accelerated
CC7/8 Accelerated Math is an accelerated class in which the 7th grade California State Math Standards will be covered in addition to approximately half of the 8th grade California Common Core Standards for Mathematics. Students will focus on operations with positive and negative rational numbers, ratios and proportional relationships, expressions and equations, geometry, statistics, and probability. Procedures, applications, problem solving and error-analysis will all be part of this course.
