Bus Information
Bus #106 public transit route provides dedicated service to OIS specifically for student commute.
- Operational Days: Monday through Friday.
- OIS Bus Stop: Before and after school, the #106 bus serves the OIS upper playing field (Ivy Drive).
- Regular Route: The bus stops at all designated stops in Orinda, including BART and North Orinda.
- Important Note: Outside of the immediate before- and after-school periods, all students must use the regular #106 bus stop located on Moraga Way.

OIS Student Drop-off and Pick-up Guidelines
- Pickup/Dropoff Location: Always use the OIS Traffic Circle in front of the main entrance for drop-off and pick-up. This is the safest and most
- Traffic Circle Rules: To keep traffic moving and ensure safety, please strictly avoid the following actions:
- DO NOT drop off or pick up students across from the upper OIS field bus turnout area. This creates congestion and reduces visibility.
- DO NOT load or unload students in the middle of the street.
- DO NOT park or wait on Ivy Drive near the school's entrance, as this blocks the traffic circle entry/exit.
- DO NOT allow students to wait on private property.
- DO NOT block any mailboxes or driveways on Ivy Drive or adjacent streets. Please be a courteous neighbor.
- Minimizing Congestion: We recommend dropping off before 8:30 AM and picking up after 3:45 PM to help minimize congestion in the circle and surrounding streets.
- Off-Campus Pick-up: If you cannot use the main traffic circle, please instruct your student to wait in one of the approved zones to minimize neighborhood congestion:
- Wait on the school side of Ivy Drive (between Risa and Coral).
- Use the OIS lower field exit for pick-up.
