BOYS BASKETBALL (7/8th grade----registration limited to first 24 sign ups per grade) Our 7/8th basketball programs offer all students 90 minutes of action packed skill development, lead up games, and sport strategy which are taught in a positive and productive environment. Our 7th and 8th graders train and play on Monday, Tuesdays and Thursdays weekly. Teams will have a chance to compete against other East Bay middle schools 8-10 times per season. Game/practice schedules will be distributed and posted the second week of practice.
Our 6th-grade basketball players meet three times per week (M/T/Th). The focus of our program is to refine individual skills through fun drills and creative lead up games. We focus on turning students on to basketball and downplay outcomes and scores. Our 6th-grade program has a flavor of intramurals, with a few games scheduled against other schools.
COED SOCCER - 6th/7th/8th
Coed Soccer offers 90 minutes of action Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays with all grade levels intermixed on two squads. This winter sport provides all students with an equal opportunity to learn, play, and to compete against other schools in the East Bay. Our experienced coaches provide skill development, lead up games, and sports strategy in a fun and positive environment. Much of the season is about having fun, scrimmaging against our peers and tuning up our soccer skills.
FLEXIBILITY & AGILITY - 6th/7th/8th
This class will incorporate a variety of exercises and movements that challenge the body's ability to move and adapt to different situations. This could include a mix of cardio, strength training, and functional movement exercises such as plyometrics and bodyweight exercises. The class will also incorporate dynamic stretching and mobility exercises to help prepare the body for the workout and aid in recovery afterwards. Sign-ups are limited to 18.

PICKLEBALL - 6th/7th/8th
Pickleball is back! This sport is rising in popularity for a good reason – it’s fun, challenging, fast-paced, and a great workout. This section will include lead-up games, skill development, and in-house competitions. All skill levels and grade levels are welcome! We meet in Isola Gym right after school on Wednesdays. Sign-ups are limited to 24.
ROCK CLIMBING - 6th/7th/8th
The Climbing Club is here! This exciting and challenging sport will help students build strength, improve flexibility and coordination, and problem-solve while making their way along our fabulous traverse rock wall in the Isola Gym. Open to all levels - no experience needed! Students will learn the basics of rock climbing and bouldering, and will have the chance to progress at their own pace. The session will end with a trip to a local rock climbing gym where they can try out their new skills.
Rock Climbing will meet on Fridays. Sign-ups are limited to the first 15.
STRENGTH & CONDITIONING - 6th/7th/8th
This class is designed to increase physical strength through weight-bearing and resistance exercise. All major muscle groups are worked from head to toe. We finish with core training and stretching for a complete workout. Sign-ups are limited to 18.
YOGA- 6th/7th/8th
Yoga is a great way for students to increase their focus, concentration, self-esteem, and stamina. All added benefits to decreasing stress, tension, and tight muscles. Yoga is good for any athlete who needs extra stretching, kids who carry oversized, overweight backpacks, or anyone who wants to learn. healthy way to tone muscles and align bones. Mats, foam blocks and straps provided. No previous yoga instruction necessary. Come and join the fun. Sign-ups are limited to 18.
