Parent Volunteer Info
Parent Chaperone
When your student signs up for an Others First monthly organized activity, please consider volunteering to drive and chaperone. Orinda Union School District (OUSD) requires a 1:6 ratio of parents to students for all organized activities. To allow all interested students to participate, we need your active involvement. Your student will have guaranteed placement in any activity where you chaperone. No younger siblings please.
In order to drive, you must have an OIS Driver Form on file.
Parent Advisor
If you have a special program (Special Olympics, walk-a-thons for any number of charitable programs, etc.) for which you would like to coordinate student help, you are encouraged to contact the Director of Others First. As a Parent Advisor, you would help facilitate making arrangements for student participation in the program.
